In a world that often feels misaligned with our deepest instincts as mothers, parents, and humans, we need new conversations — ones that honor both science and soul. That’s why I’m thrilled to welcome you to the podcast, Wild and Well, a space created to explore the big and little things that truly move the needle for children’s health, development, and emotional wellness in the modern age.
I’m Dr Hilary Claire, a clinical psychologist, holistic parenting mentor, nutrition and environmental medicine enthusiast, yogi, author, and mom of two wild boys. And this podcast is the result of both professional passion and personal evolution.
Why Wild and Well?
Because our kids deserve to be both: wild in spirit — curious, free, creative — and well in body and mind. But let’s be honest: modern life makes that hard. Our lifestyles are often out of sync with what our DNA and nervous systems were designed for. That misalignment has real effects—not only on our kids’ mental and physical health, but on our own well-being as mothers.
That’s why this podcast exists: to help you raise resilient, emotionally intelligent, healthy kids while nurturing your own vitality along the way. Because we can’t raise thriving children from a place of depletion.
What You’ll Hear on The Podcast
This isn’t just a parenting podcast — it’s a movement.
Each episode will dive into practical, research-backed, and spiritually grounded insights that support a new way of living and parenting. Episodes will feature conversations with leading experts and thought leaders.
Topics include:
A Bit About Me
My journey into holistic parenting deepened with the birth of my first son. While I’d always been interested in health and low-tox living, motherhood ignited something much deeper. I became immersed in research — especially around the impact of lifestyle, environment, and nutrition on mental health, behavior, and child development.
This eventually shifted my career. As a clinical psychologist, I began integrating lifestyle medicine, nutritional support, and environmental awareness into my work. I now work primarily with mothers and their children, offering a unique approach that blends psychology with holistic healing.
I also write, speak, and develop programs to reach more families outside of one-on-one therapy. My passion is prevention — of mental health struggles, behavioral disorders, and burnout in both children and parents. And at the heart of it all is one powerful belief:
We can’t raise well kids if mothers are unwell.
Thriving children need thriving mothers. And thriving mothers need support, knowledge, and community.
A Voice of Hope
The statistics on childhood mental health, neurological disorders, and chronic disease are sobering. But I don’t want to be another voice adding to the fear. I want this podcast to be a voice of hope.
Because so much is possible when we’re equipped with knowledge, empowered with choices, and surrounded by a community of like-minded mothers.
You don’t have to do it all perfectly. You just need to know there’s a different way—and that you’re not alone.
